Mountain Cats Finish Seventh at MEC Spring Classic
WHEELING, W.Va. — The Pitt-Johnstown men's golf team recorded 20-over par 588 over two rounds to finish seventh in the 17-team field at Wheeling University's MEC Spring Classic on Tuesday and Wednesday at Oglebay Resort. Glenville State claimed the team title with a 4-under par 564, eight strokes better than California (Pa.). Eli Ropietski enjoyed the highest individual finish for the Mountain Cats, tying two others for seventh place after shooting an even-par 142.
