COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Colorado Mesa University track & field standouts Kaelea Gibson and Izaak Siefken swept the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference's Field Athlete of the Week awards, conference officials announced on Wednesday afternoon. The athlete of the week awards are the first of their respective careers. Gibson won the women's award after setting a series of three new career-bests while winning the high jump last Friday at the High Desert Dental Maverick Invitational that CMU hosted.
