Martinez Named Skyline Men’s Volleyball Co-Player of the Year
NEW YORK — Jeremias Martinez (Elmhurst, N.Y./Newtown) of the St. Joseph's University, New York (Brooklyn) men's volleyball team was named the Skyline Conference Co-Player of the Year and earned First Team honors, the league office announced Wednesday afternoon ahead of the Bears' semifinal match at St. Joseph's (Long Island). The sophomore right side, coming off his third Player of the Week honor on Monday, becomes the first player in program history to earn the conference's top individual award.
