Kiplagat Named WAC Track Athlete of the Week
ARLINGTON, Texas 鈥� Utah Valley freshman Sila Kiplagat has been named the WAC Track Athlete of the Week for the meet week ending April 5, the league announced in a press release on Wednesday. A native of Iten, Kenya, Kiplagat set his third school record of the year on Friday at the Stanford Invitational, posting a time of 3:40.74 in the 1500-meter that leads the WAC so far this season.
