John Jay Rallies Late To Defeat Manhattanville, 7-5, In Eight Innings
Purchase, NY – The John Jay softball team erased an early deficit and used a two-run eighth inning to defeat Manhattanville, 7-5, on Wednesday afternoon at Valiants Softball Field. The Bloodhounds improved to 9-16 overall, while Manhattanville fell to 11-7. John Jay trailed 5-3 entering the fifth inning before rallying to tie the game and eventually pulling away in extra frames.
