PAWLEY'S ISLAND, S.C. – Samford junior Grace Engel earned individual medalist honors, tying for first place, while the Bulldogs finished third as a team at the Golfweek/Stifel Spring Challenge, held Monday through Wednesday at Caledonia Golf and Fish Club (Par 71, 6,082 yards). Engel shot a three-under-par 68 in Wednesday's final round to finish with a three-round score of five-under-par 208 (68-72-68). She tied with Charleston Southern's Katie Stephens for first place in the 100-player field.
