BUENA VISTA, Va. - The Southern Virginia University women's lacrosse team returned to the win column on Tuesday afternoon after a goal-filled victory over Greensboro. The big news of the day came courtesy of Ellie Patterson, who set a new single-game program record with nine goals as part of a 12 point outing. After Patterson scored the game's opening goal just over two minutes in, the teams were at a stalemate for about six minutes, each side having multiple opportunities on the attack.
