Denney Named OVC Female Track Athlete Of The Week
Eastern Illinois freshman Ashlyn Denney has been named the Ohio Valley Conference Female Track Athlete of the Week following her performance at the Indiana State Pacesetter Invite last weekend. The middle distance runner placed first in 800 meter run in a field containing 36 total runners. Denney posted a time of 2:12.17 which currently ranks first in the OVC in the 800 meter event.
