Charlotte Frere named CCIW Women鈥檚 Field Student-Athlete of the Week
NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Charlotte Frere of the Augustana Vikings women’s track and field team has been named the CCIW Women’s Field Student-Athlete of the Week, the league annouced Wednesday. Frere earned this honor after her performance at the 81st Vikings Olympic this past weekend. The senior threw a 50.12-meter mark in the discus throw to currently lead the NCAA Division III by more than two meters, along with the top spot in the conference. She also collected the top spot in the shot put and a top-10 league performance in the hammer throw.
