Cedarville battles to the last match in 4-3 reversal to Midway
CEDARVILLE, Ohio – Midway held on for a 4-3 non-conference win over the Jackets at the Johnson-Murdoch Tennis Complex. The Eagles secured the doubles point and then clinched the outcome by splitting the six singles matches. The No. 2 doubles tandem of Roman Issayev and Alexander Rongos cruised to a 6-0 win. Issayev won at No. 1 singles after taking the first set, 6-4, and then winning the contest when his opponent retired. No. 4 Pedro Nogueira and No 6 Penn Morrison both won in straight sets for Cedarville, 7-15 overall.
