Caywood Named to D3baseball.com Team of the Week
LEXINGTON, Va. – First-year infielder Alex Caywood of the Washington and Lee University baseball team was named to the D3baseball.com Team of the Week after an impressive week at the plate. Caywood, a Chantilly, Va. native, earned his first national recognition of his career while joining a small list of Generals to be honored on the weekly honor roll. He is the fifth player in program history and the first since Evan Blair ’25 earned laurels in 2023.
