Carroll Rallies Late but Falls to North Central in High-Scoring Affair
WAUKESHA, Wis. — The Carroll University baseball team came up just short Tuesday afternoon in a wild, high-scoring CCIW matchup, falling 19-16 to North Central at Frame Park. Carroll jumped out to a strong start, scoring five runs in the bottom of the first inning to grab early momentum. Joey Appino highlighted the frame with a two-run home run, and Dalen Lamberson followed with a two-run blast of his own as the Pioneers built a 5-0 advantage.
