BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Long Island University softball team (15-26, 14-1 NEC) earned a series win over Wagner College on Wednesday, defeating the Seahawks at the LIU Softball Complex in Brooklyn. LIU went up 1-0 in the bottom of the second inning with an RBI single by junior Lily Hinkle, sending home sophomore Samantha Gallegos for the first run of the ballgame.
