Bears drop tight non conference game at JWU
PROVIDENCE, R.I. — Wednesday afternoon, Coast Guard men’s baseball lost a close one on the road at Johnson & Wales University in Providence, R.I. with a final score of 3-1. The win improves JWU to 8-15 and Coast Guard drops to 7-13. Coast Guard got an early 1-0 lead in the top of the 1st inning as junior Nate Stafford (Jupiter, Fla.) reached on a fielding error and advanced to second, then to third base on a wild pitch.
