Baseball Weekend Series Shifted, Home Opener Set for Friday
Katelyn Slowik STEVENS POINT, Wis. – UW-Stevens Point head baseball coach Nat Richter has announced that his team’s home opener and weekend series against UW-River Falls has been shifted to Friday-Saturday. The Pointers’ home opener will now be on Friday (April 10) beginning at 12:00 p.m. at Zimmermann Field, the first game of the four-game weekend series. Saturday’s doubleheader beginning at 12:00 p.m. will now be the series fianle. UWSP is currently playing a midweek doubleheader at UW-Eau Claire.
