Baseball Produces 10-Run Inning to Surge Past RPI 16-10
The Middlebury baseball team accumulated a season-best 10 runs during Wednesday’s second inning, pulling away for a 16-10 victory over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI). HIGHLIGHTS The Panthers opened the scoring in the top of the first inning. Henry Ayers ripped a leadoff single through the left side and touched the plate when Andrew Baay legged out a base hit for a 1-0 lead. The hosts responded in the bottom half.
