Baseball Plates Record 42 in Game One; Nightcap Suspended
NORTHFIELD, Minn. — The College of St. Scholastica baseball team split a MIAC doubleheader at Carleton on Tuesday, highlighted by a record-setting offensive performance in game one, before game two was suspended due to darkness in the top of the ninth inning. The Saints erupted for a program-record 42 runs in the opener, rolling to a 42–9 victory. The total surpasses the previous program record of 41 runs, set in 2013 against North Central.
