Baseball Blasts 40 Hits, Scores 27 Runs in Sweep at Thiel
GREENVILLE, Pa. — The Allegheny College baseball team broke out the bats and slugged its way to a doubleheader sweep of Thiel College in Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Wednesday. The Gators (16-10, 8-2 PAC) logged a combined 40 hits and scored 27 runs en route to a pair of victories over the Tomcats (5-19, 2-8 PAC) by scores of 14-4 and 13-5.
