Barton men’s volleyball falls to rival Mount Olive in home conference affair
WILSON, N.C. – The Barton men's volleyball team (11-14, 5-7) fell to rival Mount Olive (13-7, 10-2) by a 3-1 score Wednesday evening in a Conference Carolinas contest at Wilson Gymnasium. The Trojans, winners of five straight matches, prevailed over the Bulldogs by scores of 25-25, 25-17, 17-25 and 25-23. Mount Olive was led by Brooks Ignosci (San Clemente, Calif.) with 12 kills while Jackson Lahey (Pembroke Pines, Fla.) added 42 assists as the Trojans swept the season series from the Bulldogs.
