Barton baseball falls to Lenoir-Rhyne, 9-5, Tuesday evening on the road
HICKORY, N.C. – The Barton baseball team (7-25) fell to Lenoir-Rhyne (27-8-1), 9-5, Tuesday evening in a non-conference regional affair at Durham Field. Lenoir-Rhyne's Matt Procopio (Horseheads, N.Y.) hit the game-winning, two-run double in the seventh inning while Sylas Boris (Greensboro, N.C.) hit a solo home run as the Bears rallied from a 5-2 deficit to sweep the season series from Barton.
