Balfour also earned CCM Hockey/AHCA Division III All-American East Second Team honors, SUNYAC Defensive Player of the Year honors, and was named to the All-SUNYAC First Team. She was a dominant presence on the blue line for Plattsburgh State, appearing in all 28 contests.
