Balanced attack powers Devils past Morrisville
FREDONIA, N.Y. — Fredonia State used a dominant second quarter to defeat Morrisville, 19-11, on Wednesday afternoon. With the win, Fredonia State improves to 6-7 overall and 2-3 in SUNYAC play. Morrisville opened the scoring just 23 seconds into the game on a goal by Deli Vega-Haley, but Fredonia State quickly responded. Piper Evangelist evened the score at 1-1 before Mieley Baran capitalized on a man-up opportunity to give the Devils their first lead.
