Yellowjackets Open Conference Play With Loss to Bethany Lutheran
MANKATO, Minn. – The Yellowjacket softball team was in action for their first UMAC game against Bethany Lutheran. The Yellowjackets were able to take an early lead, but a big second inning for the Vikings propelled them to the 7-6 victory. Game Notes: Tessa Twedt (Brookings, S.D./Brookings) got the scoring started for Superior as she drove home Karen Balabon (Elk River, Minn./Elk River) and Larrissa Snyder for the first two runs.
