Women鈥檚 Tennis Downs Emmanuel 5-2 at Home
ROME, Ga. 鈥� The Shorter Women's Tennis team bounced back in a strong way Tuesday afternoon, defeating Emmanuel University 5-2 at the Walt Attaway Tennis Complex. The Hawks found themselves in an early hole after doubles play, as Emmanuel claimed the point with wins on courts one and two to take a 1-0 lead heading into singles. Shorter responded in dominant fashion during singles, winning five of six matches to secure the overall victory.
