Women’s Tennis Cruises Past Chowan 6-1
MURFREESBORO — The University of Mount Olive women's tennis team earned a 6-1 victory over Chowan in a Conference Carolinas matchup on Tuesday afternoon. The Trojans put together a strong all-around performance, using a solid showing in doubles play before taking control in singles to secure the road win. Mount Olive claimed the doubles point by winning two of three matches. Nina Bernier and Simone Szovan led the way at No. 1 doubles with a 6-4 victory over Marcia Aragon and Janna Lerma.
