KANNAPOLIS, N.C. – Nico Tucker of North Carolina Central played his finest golf of the spring season this week, tying for 19 th out of 80 golfers at the Irish Creek Intercollegiate on Tuesday. Tucker fired a four-over 217 through three rounds, highlighted by an even par 71 in both the first and second rounds Monday on the 7,005-yard layout at The Club at Irish Creek. The result was Tucker's best finish this season, topping his performance at the Golden Horseshoe Intercollegiate in March where he placed 37 th out of 86 competitors.
