Tennis defeated at NEWMAC foes Springfield
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. 鈥� The United States Coast Guard Academy tennis team were victims of a 2-5 loss on Tuesday, April 7th, at New England Women’s and Men’s Athletic Conference (NEWMAC) foes Springfield College. The Bears’ two points on the afternoon came from singles wins. Coast Guard moves to 1-5 on the season and 1-3 in conference play, while Springfield improves to 7-5 overall and stays undefeated against league opponents at 3-0. The Pride will face non-conference action for their next one on Thursday, April 9th, against Farmingdale State College (3-4). The Bears were swept at doubles to start the day.…
