Sullivan Breaks Hit Record, Baseball Drops Series Opener to WAC
SWARTHMORE, Pa. – The Swarthmore College baseball team opened its series against Washington College with a 13-3 loss on Wednesday afternoon. The Garnet totaled seven hits and 11 walks, but struggled with runners in scoring position. Aidan Sullivan headlined the afternoon for the Garnet, ripping a leadoff double off the centerfield wall in the first inning for his 201st career hit. With the milestone swing, the senior became the program’s all-time hits leader, surpassing Charles Levitt’s mark set in 2019.
