Strong pitching performances secure Softball鈥檚 series split at Luther
DECORAH, Iowa 鈥� The Coe College Softball team split a pair of American Rivers Conference games Tuesday afternoon at Luther College, falling 1-0 in the opening game before bouncing back with a 2-0 victory in game two. Both teams had scoring chances in the first game of the day, but neither could capitalize. The Norse scored the lone run in the bottom of the sixth inning, getting a leadoff single before small ball and a wild pitch pushed the winning run home.
