Southwestern Shutout by Friends in Road Loss
WICHITA, Kan. — Southwestern College was shut out Tuesday in a 12-0 loss to Friends University at Westside Field. Friends (22-18) broke the game open early, scoring once in the first inning before erupting for six runs in the second to take control. The Falcons added two more runs in the third and three in the fifth to cap the scoring. Southwestern (11-28) managed four hits in the contest, with Brice Nittler recording the team’s only extra-base hit with a double.
