Softball sweeps Franciscan in PAC doubleheader
WAYNESBURG, Pa. (April 7) 鈥� The Waynesburg University softball team hosted Franciscan on a cold, sunny Tuesday for a Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader. The Yellow Jackets took care of business and picked up two crucial wins by the final scores of 6-1 and 10-1 (5 innings). Waynesburg (18-8, 6-4) opened the scoring in the bottom of the second inning with an RBI single by junior Brynn Charnesky (Scottdale, Pa. / Southmoreland) that scored sophomore Tori Foust (Blairsville, Pa. / River Valley).
