Softball Blasts Olivet in MIAA Opener
Shortstop Becca Tuttle smacked a grand slam as the Hope College softball team swept The University of Olivet, 14-2 and 10-2, on Tuesday to open MIAA play. The Flying Dutch recorded a pair of run-rule, five-inning victories to extend their winning streak to 14 games, the third-longest in program history. Hope (19-5 overall) heads into a showdown against second-ranked Trine University on Saturday, April 11, at 1 p.m. at Wolters Stadium. Admission is free.
