Sharks Split Tuesday Doubleheader Against Wagner
BROOKLYN, N.Y. — The Long Island University softball team (14-26, 13-1 NEC) split Tuesday's doubleheader against Wagner College, defeating the Seahawks 4-1 after falling to Wagner 6-0 in the opening game of the doubleheader. While Wagner opened scoring with a solo home run in the top of the third inning, the Sharks responded to tie the game at one with an RBI single by sophomore Hannah Burnett in the bottom of the fourth.
