Pollock Tabbed Conference Carolinas Field Athlete Of The Week
By: Alex Pearce, Assistant Athletic Communications Director GREENVILLE, S.C. 鈥� A school record on Friday at the VertKlasse Meeting paved the way for Kyleigh Pollock to be named Conference Carolinas Women's Field Athlete of the Week, league officials announced Tuesday. A native of Lumberton, Pollock recorded a mark of 12.00 meters in the triple jump to break an 11-year old school record, while also hitting an NCAA Provisional mark. Pollock's mark is also the second best in Conference Carolinas this season. The announcement marks the first time a UNCP women's field athlete earned the honor since Lillian Marino in 2023.
