BIRMINGHAM, Ala. | Alabama State University outfielder Miguel Oropeza and hurler Jorhan LaBoy were honored as the SWAC Baseball Hitter and Pitcher of the Week on Tuesday, April 7, 2026. Oropeza hit .471 over four games, helping the Hornets go 2-2 on the week. Orapeza went 8-for-17 at the plate with two doubles, one triple, one home run, and seven RBI.
