Nye Nabs MAC Track Athlete of the Week
NEWTOWN, Pa. – Widener Women’s Track & Field graduate student Gabby Nye takes home a record breaking performance to earn MAC Track Athlete of the Week, as announced by the conference office on Tuesday. Gabby Nye set a new Widener school record in the 3000-meter steeplechase with a time of 10:44.56. Her time is the fastest in the conference by over a minute and ranks second in the nation. Nye and the Pride head back into competition on Friday, April 10 at the Bucknell Outdoor Classic and the TCNJ Invite & Multi.
