No. 73 women’s tennis’ winning streak reaches eight with win at Davis & Elkins
ELKINS, W.Va. – No. 73 Averett University women’s tennis won its eighth straight match with a 6-1 win at Division-II Davis & Elkins College on Tuesday afternoon. While Averett (10-2) and Davis & Elkins (4-6) split the first and second double slots, the Cougars got dual point number one on the board with a win by default in the deciding doubles bout. Averett’s singles players did its part and sealed victory with solid wins across the lineup.
