National softball poll keeps Central at No. 21
PELLA鈥� After poor weather conditions gave the Central College softball teaman unexpected week off, the Dutch stayed at No. 21 in the newest NFCA/GoRout Division III Top 25 Coaches Poll released Tuesday. In its last time out on March 28, Central (16-2) had its 13-game winning streak ended against the Illinois College Lady Blues inn a 12-3 loss after five innings. The Dutch rallied to win the first game 7-6. Virginia Wesleyan University remains the unanimous No. 1 team while Trine University (Ind.) and Linfield University (Ore.) round out the top three.
