Garden City, N.Y. - Following a two-win week for Adelphi women's lacrosse, Rory Meehan and Julia Foppiano have received recognition from the Northeast 10 Conference, as Defensive Player and Player of the Week, respectively. Additionally, Meehan was tabbed the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division II Defensive Player of the Week for her efforts. Meehan was a force on the field last week, collecting seven caused turnovers and five ground balls in No. 13 Adelphi's pair of wins.
