McCabe notches 300th career win; No. 16 W&L rolls at Shenandoah
WINCHESTER, Va. – Washington and Lee University Head Men’s Lacrosse Coach Gene McCabe picked up the 300th win in his collegiate coaching career on Tuesday evening in a 26-4 win at Shenandoah. HOW IT HAPPENED: The Generals (9-5, 6-1 ODAC) struck for 10 goals in the opening quarter from eight different scorers. Senior James Haley and first-year Luke Caldwell both racked up a goal and three assists in the opening frame. W&L tallied each of the next six goals, as well, in the second quarter to run its lead up to 16-1, before heading to the halftime break up, 18-3.…
