Mavericks Fall to Baylor 5-2 in Midweek Contest
ARLINGTON, Texas 鈥� The UT Arlington Mavericks dropped a midweek matchup to Baylor 5-2 on Tuesday evening at Clay Gould Ballpark. UTA (13-18, 2-1 WAC) struck early in the first inning when Xavier Melendez launched a two-run home run to deep left field, scoring Preston Knott and giving the Mavericks a 2-0 lead.
