Lacrosse Drops 10-6 Decision at Davenport in Non-League Action
Grand Rapids, Mich. - The University of Findlay women's lacrosse team fell on the road Tuesday, April 7, dropping a 10-6 non-conference decision to Davenport. The Oilers fall to 6-6 overall while Davenport improves to 8-5. Davenport controlled the opening quarter, taking a 2-1 lead. Rebecca Chmiel put Findlay on the board with an unassisted goal with 2:58 remaining in the period. Davenport continued to build separation in the second quarter, utilizing a trio of man-up goals to extend their lead.
