Jamora Alves Named BIG EAST Field Athlete of the Week
NEW YORK 鈥� St. John's track and field standout Jamora Alves was named the BIG EAST Women's Field Athlete of the Week for her impressive performances over the weekend, the league office announced on Tuesday afternoon. Alves becomes the first Johnnie to earn an athlete of the week honor during the 2026 outdoor season and the first field athlete award since teammate Linn Hertz Saebbo was tabbed during the indoor season in December.
