BEAUMONT, Texas – Lamar University freshman Isabella Flores continues to receive honors for her weekend series against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. Flores has been selected as the D1Softball.com Mid-Major Freshman of the Week after recording a .600 batting average (6-of-10) with nine RBIs, three homers and one double while leading LU to a series sweep of the Islanders. She started the series with six RBIs on two homers (one grand slam) and then ended the weekend with a walk-off three-run blast.
