Helvy-Bruce Takes Home Newcomer of the Week Honors
PAC Release TRAFFORD, Pa. 鈥� Mariah Helvy-Bruce (Braddock, Pa./Woodland Hills) of the Allegheny women’s track and field team earned Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Newcomer of the Week honors for her performance at Slippery Rock’s Dave Labor Invitational. This marks the second time Helvy-Bruce has earned honors from the conference after receiving the same accolades during the indoor season. Helvy-Bruce ran with Aubryanna Snyder (Aliquippa, Pa./Hopewell), Renee Tetlow (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) and Evie Ellenberger (Pittsburgh, Pa./Upper St. Clair) in the 4×100.
