Grinnell baseball team brushes off the cold to remain hot in Midwest Conference play

GRINNELL, Iowa – Grinnell College’s baseball team wasn’t fazed in the slightest by Tuesday’s frigid temperatures and wind as the hosts swept Cornell College in a doubleheader at Pioneer Park. The 11-1 and 9-1 victories propelled Grinnell to 5-1 in the Midwest Conference, its best start to league play since the 2017 season. Grinnell, 11-12 in all games, disposed of the Rams in eight innings in the opener.
