Goohs Surpasses 100 Career Hits; Nine-run Sixth Lifts Baseball above Bard
PURCHASE, N.Y. – Chris Goohs (Nesconset, N.Y./Smithtown H.S. East) surpassed 100 career hits in baseball’s comeback victory over Bard College, 15-7. The Valiants (17-6) used a nine-run sixth inning to best the Raptors (8-9) in the Tuesday afternoon single game. Goohs fronted the offense through the nine innings, going 3-for-5 with a double and two singles, scoring two runs and sending in one.
