Golf Takes First Place With Season Low Score at Alling Spring Invitational
New Haven, Conn. 鈥� April 7, 2026 鈥� The Springfield College men’s golf team had an outstanding outing at the Alling Golf Club Spring Invitational as the Pride won the team title with its top score from the entire 2025-26 season totaling a 303. Individually, Springfield’s Ryan Wood (Foxborough, Mass.) and Matt Kumpulanian (Wilbraham, Mass.) recorded scores of 74 finishing just one stroke behind individual medalist Derek Johnson of Western New England University.
