Golf Places Ninth at Annual Greenbrier Invitational
WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W. Va. 鈥� The Sweet Briar College golf team placed ninth at this year’s Greenbrier Invitational, contested at The Greenbrier. Sweet Briar competed at the invitational, April 6th 鈥� 7th, and finished with an 819 (+243) total with scores of 407 in round one and 412 in round two. The Vixens were led by junior Isabella Peregrine (Liberty, Mo.), who finished in a tie for 28th overall with a two-day score of 174 (+30). Peregrine shot an 87 on both days.
