Goldberg Earns Second Straight Centennial Pitcher of the Week Honor
LANCASTER, Pa. 鈥� Swarthmore College’s Lilly Goldberg was named the Centennial Conference Softball Pitcher of the Week for the second week in a row on Tuesday. Goldberg tossed two complete-game wins for the Garnet, posting a 1.00 ERA over 14.0 innings while allowing just two runs on nine hits with 10 strikeouts and two walks (.196 opponent average). The sophomore opened with a three-hit shutout at Franklin & Marshall and followed with a two-run, six-strikeout complete game at McDaniel. Swarthmore hosts Ursinus College on Tuesday afternoon.
